Sundeep Kumar (b. 1992) is a Karachi based visual artist whose practice examines systems of value, material transformation, and everyday economies. He works with coins as image, surface, and material, treating currency as both representation and a site of transformation.

Through painting and material processes, his work explores how value is constructed, circulated, and experienced unevenly, often through subtle shifts in scale, symbolism, and surface. Recent projects extend this inquiry into processes of residue and erosion, where material itself becomes a record of time, use, and loss.

Kumar holds a BFA in Painting from the Centre of Excellence in Art & Design, MUET, Jamshoro (2015). His work has been exhibited in multiple group exhibitions and a solo presentation, and is part of the collection of VM Art Gallery, Karachi. He is the co-founder and director of Atelier School of Art and Design in Karachi, where he teaches and mentors emerging artists.
